This was one of the first courses I created as a Career Coach at Georgia State Unviersity’s Robinson College of Business. I recognized a need within the international student body for information and resources related to internships, full-time work and finding corporate sponsorship. After meeting with the office of International Student Affairs, I created this course that included links to government resources, a knowledge check, lists of employers who provide sponsorships and even a “scavenger hunt” designed to facilitate experiential learning. To enable students to share resources (social learning), I created an open-source knowledge sharing page at the end of the course. This course was created in Google Workspace (formerly Google Sites).
